Compared to other ford explorers this has many features including sun roof, 6 seats as the second row are captains chairs for extra comfort. More cup holders than a stretch limo, leather seats throughout. Heated front seats. Roof rack that can slide back and forward into different positions, very useful for kayak and bikes.

Immaculate in side with original Ford logo mats. Everything works!

Had new shocks a year ago, drive belt and brakes. Serviced regularly at Motor Doctors in Ngaio, Wellington.

Just replaced the back panel as was cracked (happens to all explorers!!) and has been painted to match. Small chip in windscreen but being replaced on Wednesday 13th Oct so will be brand new.

Very comfortable car, cruise control for long straight drives. I have done Auckland-Wellington several times and this makes it so much more pleasant. I have also been off roading and camping with it and it fits a double air mattress comfortably in the back for those slightly colder windier nights where a tent doesn’t cut it!

After market blue tooth stereo system with reversing camera as well. This is not linked to the steering wheel buttons but have looked into it and it can be for someone in the know.

I love this car but now have 3 cars and not enough space. I upgraded to a Hummer H3 so the explorer has moved down the pecking order!
